PROJECTS
ENGINEERING WORKS
We offer a range of civil and building services to suit your needs. Available as standalone products or as part of a full turnkey solution, we can provide everything, including concrete bases, transformer bases and GRP housings, generator and fuel bund solutions, HV/LV cages and building infrastructure. We can also take care of ductwork, trenchwork, ground clearance, standard and acoustic fencing, cable containment and building repairs.

PROJECTS
TRANSFORMERS
Our tailored packages of HV and LV transformers have HV switchgear for standalone processes or close coupled LV equipment. All HV transformers are air cooled or force ventilated to increase output by up to 40% and come with close coupled HV cable boxes, HV switches and ring main units. LV transformers are fully welded and modular sheet steel construction cubicles are available.

PROJECTS
SWITCHGEAR AND CONTROL SYSTEMS

We offer HV equipment and packaged substation, main and sub LV distribution switchgear, power distribution units, control panels, disaster recovery and more – everything you need for your project. We only ever use quality products to give you the most reliable results.

PROJECTS
GENERATOR SALES
We have a wide range of sound attenuated, diesel generators, from 10kVA to 4500 kVA, with internal 8-hour fuel tanks. Larger units have synchronising capability and our largest package is over 80MVA. We work alongside the Kohler-SDMO’s design team to deliver the best solution for you. Kohler-SDMO is one of the largest designers and manufacturers of diesel power generators globally and have supply and service agreements in place with all major engine manufacturers.

PROJECTS
SELECTIVE CATALYTIC REDUCTION
Selective Catalytic Reduction is one of the most cost-effective and fuel-efficient technologies available to help reduce diesel engine emissions of your generator, either incumbent as part of an installation. Our project engineers have experience in all aspects of SCR technology. We can advise on the best solution available to you, equipping your critical power systems with the latest SCR technology.

PROJECTS
IN-HOUSE LOGISTICS DEPARTMENT
Unlike some of our competitors, we have our own fully operational, in-house logistics department. Our fleet consists of over 100 vehicles, including 4x4 and Hiab. Our vehicles are on-hand to be dispatched 24/7, 365 days a year.

PROJECTS
FACTORY ACCEPTANCE TESTING FACILITIES
WB Power are proud to boast of having our own in-house testing facilities. Based in Ilkeston, Derbyshire, we invite all our clients to come along and join us whilst we carry out FAT (factory acceptance testing) on your generating sets. Our facilities have full conferencing and refreshment facilities, meaning customers can continue to work whilst monitoring our testing procedures.

PROJECTS
UNINTERRUPTIBLE POWER SUPPLIES
A generator may take between 20-60 seconds to take your building load. That is when our UPS or Uninterruptible Power Supply systems step in, helping avoid damage and loss of data. WB Power services can work with your team to understand your UPS requirements, providing bespoke solutions based on their findings.

PROJECTS
Acoustic Solutions
In low noise sensitive environments, a standard generator enclosure may not always be suitable, and an acoustic generator solution is often the best choice. Our acoustic engineers have experience in all aspects of plant room and container design, so they are well placed to find the right solution for you.

PROJECTS
Fuel Solutions
We offer a comprehensive fuel storage and distribution and design service. That covers everything above and below ground and extends to a full dedicated after sales service, which includes annual inspections, so you have peace of mind going forward.
YOUR SPECIALIST PROJECT TEAM
Our specialist consultants, engineers and project managers have led projects of all sizes, across all sectors and have extensive experience. They are dedicated to delivering turnkey critical power infrastructure and can expertly manage your project from specification to delivery (and everything in between). No matter the complexity, or where you are in the UK, we can plan, coordinate, deliver and hand over the keys to you at the end.
