OUR ‘GENERATOR SELECTION’ CPD SYLLABUS

Our CPD courses can take many forms of learning. Whether lectures, seminars or workshops, there is no one-size-fits-all to how they are approached. Courses can be delivered either in-person, such as classroom style, or online, or even possibly a hybrid of both. A blended approach to learning is our aim, incorporating active learning, passive learning and self-directed learning. The different learning methodologies can vary depending on the type of CPD course you undertake with WBPS. Individuals can structure their learning easily throughout the year. Whichever method of learning is undertaken, our CPD courses provide flexibility so that the individual can find a learning style that suits them. Our main syllabus is called the ‘Generator Selection’ syllabus. This course is split into five key stages with an optional extra, which are:

Module 2 – Do’s, Don’t & General Considerations
Module 3 – Noise
Module 4 – Fuel Storage & Distribution
Module 5 – Exhaust Systems & Emissions
Module 6 – WBPS’ Approach
