WHAT IS COMBINED HEAT & POWER (CHP)?
Combined heat and power generation (CHP) is a technology which drastically reduces energy wastage, by utilising the process of co generation. In a traditional diesel powered generator at full load, vast volumes of energy, sometimes up to 70%, are lost through steam. Utilising innovative technology, CHP generators are able to utilise this expended heat to produce additional power, which is commonly used as a source of hot water heating or for central heating systems
