SOUND RESTRICTIONS

The generator was packaged in a custom designed container rated to achieve a noise level of 70dBA @ 1m

FUEL MANAGEMENT SOLUTION

The new generator set was designed to link into an existing fuel distribution system connected to a bulk tank.

OVERVIEW

PROJECT BRIEF

The installation package provided by WB Power Services included a difficult off load and positioning process of the generator. It would also need to link into the incumbent fuel distribution system connected to a bulk tank, as well as upgrade to the switchgear and control system, along with installation of all necessary  interconnecting power and control cables.

SOLUTION & RESULT

WB Power Services supplied, installed, tested and commissioned a new 2000kVA Kohler-SDMO generator for Prince Charles Hospital, which ensured a reliable back-up power source for existing and new facilities within the hospital. The generators are housed in close fit factory built enclosures that were engineered to fit within a newly created but very compact compound area.

The generating sets were supplied with the ComAp control system which ensured that the set could be synchronised to the main for softmains return. The generator was packaged in a custom designed container rated to achieve a noise level of 70 dBA @1m.
