RAPID, EMERGENCY RESPONSE
To ensure our clients nationwide have access to our support team in the event of an emergency, here at WBPS we have created a telephone line manned by experienced staff to help you out.
One call to the WB Power Services emergency line (0115 944 4422) will give you peace of mind that immediate assistance is on the way – 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

WB POWER ONLINE
In addition to these services we also offer an advanced new process, entitled WB Power On-line. This service operates a state of the art integrated company management system, resulting in engineers communicating work-in-progress of the power generator back to the office and directly to the client via a PDA.
This alleviates the need for paper-based worksheets and reports as all your data is stored on the WB Power On-line database system, which is instantly available and easily accessed via a secure internet portal. The system also allows you to log on and access the complete service records either by site or individual equipment reference.
By utilising this bespoke on-line system, our service department can also remotely monitor the condition of the generator and link this information direct to the WB Power Services team of service engineers. This enables discovery and rectification of many issues before they cause problems – ensuring your generator remains in optimum condition.
DIESEL GENERATOR MAINTENANCE
All our maintenance work is undertaken by teams of experts, including engineers, project managers, consultants and logistics coordinators, who are directly employed by us. There are no sub-contractors or middlemen, just specialists with a wealth of knowledge and know-how.

DIESEL GENERATOR SPARE PARTS
Here at WBPS, we can provide vital diesel generator spare parts, ready for quick despatch when you need them most. With supply agreements in place with most of the major manufacturers and ancillary component suppliers, we can access just about all the spare parts needed for regular maintenance and servicing.Everything from a simple handle or switch, through to a complete acoustic canopy can be made available through our network of suppliers.

DIESEL GENERATOR
LOAD BANK TESTING
The importance of a diesel generator load bank testing cannot be underestimated. When a generator is being used under capacity (i.e. a 10kVA load applied to a 30kVA generator) or if the set is run for long periods with no applied load, the engine will never reach its full operating temperature, and unburned fuel deposits will build up inside. This will drastically reduce the life of the engine. It is, therefore, essential that the generator undergoes an application of a simulated electrical load to reduce the risk of engine failure.W e can provide a complete electrical load testing service both resistive and reactive up to 10mW through our range of load test machines, with documentation provided for quality control purposes. We can also help to test resistive and reactive load banks, as well as load bank hire.

DIESEL GENERATOR RELOCATION
The combination of our experienced engineers and a modern, dedicated transport fleet means that should a client require the relocation of an existing generator; we are ready to complete the removal, efficiently and safely. We can also help you with the following services: Removal and re-installation Replacement pipe work Risk assessment and installation reporting Temporary fuel tank hire Re-commissioning inspections to legislative requirements Environmental storage impact/risk assessment service Resistive and reactive load bank testing

DIESEL GENERATOR FUEL POLISHING
For efficient and continued operation, a supply of clean fuel to a generator is essential. If diesel has been stored, unused, for a lengthy period of time it can become contaminated. Contamination is usually in the form of water, fuel tank deposits and has been an issue since the introduction of bio fuel bacteria. We can offer a diesel generator fuel polishing service which removes all contaminates from the fuel, returning it to its former state. We do this using state-of-the-art techniques, including chemical treatment and filtering, that not only removes any unwanted particulates but is also kind to the wider environment. Regular fuel polishing also ensures that a generator will operate at maximum efficiency for longer periods.

DIESEL GENERATOR REPAIRS AND UPGRADES
Our team has full capability, training and work to certified ISO standards to completely strip and rebuild any type of engine from basic generators through to twin bank diesels, CHP units and locomotives too. All components we use in the refurbishment of an engine are to the manufacturer’s OEM specification. For older models where replacement parts are unavailable, a reconditioned part may be used but will remain set to a manufacturer’s OEM specification. All reconditioned parts supplied from stock have all undergone a full inspection and factory overhaul and are backed up by a full 180-day warranty. As well as individual parts, we also specialise in factory reconditioning of sub-assemblies, including; crankshafts, nodal damper couplings, cylinder heads, water pumps, oil pumps, fuel pumps, fuel injectors, turbochargers, connecting rods and intercoolers, etc.

DIESEL GENERATOR POWER QUALITY SURVEYS
Poor or unstable power quality has a number of adverse effects on an electrical system. These include; higher than average energy costs, damage or reduction in the longevity of the equipment, increased carbon output and possible total electrical failure. Our engineers are available to conduct power quality surveys throughout the UK. Using the very latest techniques, we can carry out a complete survey of the electrical system and make the necessary recommendations to restore a power supply to its most efficient function.

DIESEL GENERATOR
THERMOGRAPHIC SURVEY
Thermal imaging is an extremely useful tool for electrical and mechanical fault finding. It requires no contact being made with operational equipment which means that surveys can be carried out without interruption to your live and operation critical power support system. We also have access to the latest in Fluke thermal imaging technology and can provide a comprehensive thermographic survey of your entire backup power system.

DIESEL GENERATOR
DIESEL GENERATOR REMOTE MONITORING
Remotely monitoring the operation of a diesel generator power system can help to reduce downtime and inefficient operation. Using the very latest telemetry systems, we can remotely monitor the operation of a generator while operating in an unmanned location. Engineers will be alerted to a failure or potential issue relating to the functions of the generator via an online operation or via SMS message. This means that a field-based service engineer can be despatched to the site and ensure that the set is back up and running with the minimum of inconvenience.
