WBPS TO OPEN NEW MANUFACTURING FACILITY IN LOUGHBOROUGH

WB Power Services (WBPS), a trusted family-owned operator of critical power infrastructure with over 35 years of experience, is excited to announce the April opening of a new manufacturing facility in Loughborough.

The new site will focus on the production and assembly of the company’s new WB e-Pod, a modular critical power solution designed to meet increased demand and reduce lead and installation times.

The Data Centre WB e-Pod is a modular, bespoke package, fully designed in-house by WB Power Services. Packaged at the newly opened production facility, the product will offer a truly bespoke critical power solution, fully designed to client specification, using client-preferred products.

Located on the site of the former Brush Electronics panel shop, the new facility spans approximately 40,000 square feet and is strategically positioned to serve the critical power needs of various sectors, including hospitals, data centres, banks, utility companies, and military installations. WBPS has been a trusted provider of generator installations, sales maintenance and hire solutions nationwide since 1983.

The Loughborough facility will contribute to the local economy by creating full-time employment opportunities for a site manager and engineering team. It will primarily focus on the assembly and production of e-Pod units, which have already garnered significant interest from hyperscale data centre providers.
