WBPS CELEBRATE 40 YEARS IN POWER

WB Power Services (WBPS) celebrate a huge milestone this December, reaching 40 years in the business and continuing to provide critical power, maintenance and hire solutions to a variety of sectors and organisations across the UK.

Since their first operations back in December 1983, the family-run business continues to carry those same values of teamwork, customer service and commitment to critical power, as they did all those years ago.

The company’s partnership with Kohler, one of the largest manufacturers operating in the generating set market globally, has cemented their position within the power marketplace. Named as the sole, European authorised distributor for Kohler generators and spare parts, WBPS’s relationship with the power systems group continues to go from strength to strength.

Reaching many significant milestones over the years, including securing major generator contract wins for Queens Medical Centre and the British Antarctic Survey back in 1985, to employing its 50^th member of staff in 1992, each one of the company’s highlights has helped shape the business into what it is today.

Today with employees surpassing 400, and the company’s recent acquisition of Hodgson Acoustics and rebrand as Wiltech Acoustics, further adds to their powerful position within the marketplace, exemplifying their strength and commitment to provide critical power solutions across the board.

Following significant growth across the businesses, the company recently announced an annual turnover of £110m in 2023, and with the acquisition and continued growth planned, the company expects to take this through to £200m going forward.
