WBPS Makes the Prestigious FEBE Growth 100

WB Power Services are thrilled to announce their place within the prestigious FEBE Growth 100 list – A list that honours businesses and the Fastest Growing Founder-led Companies in the UK.

For 2025, the FEBE Growth 100 has unveiled its prestigious list, with the critical power company firmly making their mark on the line-up. Following record growth across all sectors of the business including a recent business acquisition, WBPS are honoured to have their efforts and achievements rewarded in such a way.

Since their first operations back in December 1983, the family-run business has recently reached their 40th year providing critical power, maintenance and hire solutions to a variety of sectors and organisations across the UK.

Having reached many significant milestones over the years, including securing major generator contract wins for Queens Medical Centre and the British Antarctic Survey back in 1985, to employing its 50th member of staff in 1992, each one of the company’s highlights has helped shape the business into what it is today.

Today with employees surpassing 600, and the company’s recent acquisition of Hodgson Acoustics and rebrand as Wiltech Acoustics, WBPS continues to excel their position within the marketplace. As well as demonstrating their strength and commitment to critical power solutions, they also continue to carry the same values of teamwork, customer service and commitment to critical power, they have honoured since the beginning.

Commenting on today’s announcement, CEO of the Wilmott group and Managing Director of WBPS and Wiltech, Andrew Wilmott says: “We are truly honoured that WBPS has made the prestigious FEBE Growth 100 list. For over 40 years WBPS has provided the very best in critical power solutions and service and we understand the importance our business has within the very communities that we serve.

To be recognised within the FEBE Growth 100 list makes us extremely proud at how far we have come. The growth of the business over the past 40 years has been nothing short of outstanding and we value every single person who has contributed to its amazing journey so far. From reaching a variety of significant milestones, to cementing our partnership with Rehlko (formally known as Kohler) we are indebted to everyone who has played their part in helping WBPS grow!”

A list that celebrates the true spirit of entrepreneurialism, the FEBE Growth 100 places business founders at the very helm. Now in its fourth year, the ranking celebrates the people building the fastest-growing British businesses where founders remain at the helm. But it isn’t just a list. It’s a community. A celebration. A snapshot of the energy, ambition, and resilience that define the UK entrepreneurial scene. Founders on this list are making an impact, and FEBE is proud to champion them.

FEBE measures growth using robust metrics and rigorous research, including two-year compound annual growth rate (CAGR), revenue performance, and founder involvement. All qualifying companies are UK-registered, privately owned, independent and have generated annual revenues between £3 million and £200 million with an operating profit in their latest financial year.

Charlotte Quince, founder of FEBE, said: “The Growth 100 isn’t just a leaderboard – it’s a tribute to the founders pushing boundaries, taking risks, and building brilliant businesses against all odds.”
