ACQUISITION OF HODGSON ACOUSTICS LTD

On Wednesday of last week (20th September) Hodgson Acoustics Limited, based in Loughborough & Leicester, officially went into administration. WB Power have worked with Hodgson for a number of years on some of our major generator projects. We are pleased to announce that we have finalised a deal with the administators RSM to buy the assets, stock, take over the existing building and keep the staff employed under a new business name Wiltech Acoustics Ltd, an associated company of WB Power Services Ltd. I would like to thank the team at WB Power Services for helping us get this across the line, namely Kate Stevenson, Danny Buttar, David Grummitt, Jackie Belcher and Sean Garrity, whilst under considerable time pressures.The acquisition will give us complete control over the manufacturing process and allow us to offer top quality, bespoke acoustic enclosures and solutions for all applications.I have met a majority of the team over the last week and I am really impressed with the attitude, ambition, and drive that I’ve seen. We can’t wait to work with the whole team to make Wiltech Acoustics Ltd a success.
