WB Power Services Ltd are committed to establishing policy and objectives for quality, performing management review of the system and ensuring the availability of resources. They recognise that the continued future success of the company depends on continual improvement of the service provided. The ongoing intention is to provide services which completely meet the needs and expectations of its customers. The quality management system used to achieve this policy is fully described in the WB Power Services Ltd manual; relevant sections shall be communicated and understood by all staff.
The WB Power Services Ltd Manual and supporting documentation are mandatory and binding throughout the company. The responsibility for the compilation, revision and maintenance of the quality management system rests with the Managing Director (Quality).
Authority to give directions with respect to the assurance of quality lies with the Directors, supported by the other members of staff who have a direct and continuing responsibility. The policy, systems, and quality procedures described in the quality manual are based on the requirements of the British Standard for Quality Systems i.e. BS EN ISO 9001.
WB Power Services believe whole heartedly in true quality. From the quality of it's staff, the quality of it's service, the quality of it's customer care supported by the quality of it's suppliers proved by the quality of it's customers. Plan what you do. Do what you plan, record it, is the simple basics of a complex package.
ISO 9001 approved since 1993 or BS5750 as it was known then, one of the first Companies in the country to achieve accreditation to this prestigious standard of excellence. WBPS take pride in never having one non conformance raised against them. This was followed by many British Safety council awards, a Green Apple environmental award in 2003 and in 2004 the ISO 14001 environmental standard, a standard that still today very few Companies can boast about.
CHAS and SAFE Contractor certification both add to the list of accolades to the Company. For over twenty five years WBPS have striven to improve their services and the quality of the company, never fearing what others are doing.
Continuous improvement has been the aim since day one and that aim will never change.
Most recent achievements speak volumes of WBPS’s quality and success - 2009 has seen the addition and implementation of the OHSAS 18001 Health & Safety standard putting them in the top 1% of companies in the country. In recent months the RoSpa award for Health & Safety Innovation has also been attained.
